Try this keyboard: Konkani Keyboard
Prepare a separate practice line
Open the Konkani keyboard. If a browser draft is already present, save it before using the trash button to start this exercise. Put the caret in the main editor and make sure Shift, Caps and Alt Gr are off. This gives the sample a predictable starting point.
The sample deliberately separates the consonant क, the sign ा and the independent vowel आ with spaces. It is not a correctly formed word. This keeps the three mappings visible so you can compare the sign and the letter before using them in real text.
Enter the three-character exercise
Use these positions in order: K for क; then E for ा; then Shift + E for आ. Add one Space between each output. When using on-screen modifiers, switch them off before moving to a different layer. The resulting editor text is क ा आ. It is a character exercise, not a word or a translation.
E and Shift with E are the central comparison: they produce ा and आ respectively. A sign shown alone may appear with a placeholder-like shape supplied by the font. That display does not mean the keyboard has automatically created the appropriate syllable or repaired its character order.
Check the result before reusing it
Before composing a longer passage, inspect the required characters on both layers. The retained base D and F positions both insert ॑; they are not substitutes for a missing vowel or joining character. Use another input method for any required form that the visible map lacks.
For actual writing, enter a reviewed character sequence rather than rearranging signs until the screen happens to look plausible. Fonts shape the sequence you supply. Copying that text into another application can expose an incorrect sequence even if the original browser display looked acceptable.
Save the exercise as a PNG image
Open Text style from the font icon. Use Arial at 28 px, Automatic color, and Left to right direction. Turn bold, italic, underline and strikethrough off. These settings apply to the whole editor. A font changes appearance, not the stored characters; your device may use a fallback font for unsupported shapes. Choose Done to close the style dialog.
Choose Save image to save the complete exercise as a PNG, with centered lines and dark text on a white background. Open the file and compare it with the sample. For an editable alternative, choose Save Word (.docx) to create a real .docx, or use Copy text for plain text. These actions use all the editor text even when only part is selected.

Tips for this layout
Treat Shift as a different layer
Shift does not mean uppercase in this exercise. It selects other mapped forms, including independent vowels. Check the changed labels before pressing a key.
Review before building a document
Test missing signs early, especially if the text needs joined forms. It is easier to choose a different input source before writing a whole passage than after formatting it.
Common questions
Is the spaced sample a Konkani word?
No. It is a reproducible character comparison showing क, ा and आ separately. Remove or add spaces in real text according to the intended writing.
Can I type a Roman spelling and get Devanagari?
This page does not provide Roman-letter transliteration. The large symbols on the visible keys show the exact characters inserted.
What should I do when a required sign is missing?
Enter the complete text with another suitable input method and paste it into the editor. You can then use the same styling, copying and download controls.
Try the Konkani exercise
Compare the sign and independent vowel first, then choose an input workflow that supplies every character your Konkani text requires.
