Try this keyboard: Russian Keyboard
Prepare a separate practice line
Open the Russian keyboard. If a browser draft is already present, save it before using the trash button to start this exercise. Put the caret in the main editor and make sure Shift, Caps and Alt Gr are off. This gives the sample a predictable starting point.
Find Q for й and slash for ё. These physical positions differ from what the printed Latin hints might suggest. The page does not interpret a Roman spelling as Russian; each key inserts the currently displayed Cyrillic character.
Enter the three-character exercise
Use these positions in order: Q for й; then / for ё; then Shift + 1 for 1. Add one Space between each output. When using on-screen modifiers, switch them off before moving to a different layer. The resulting editor text is й ё 1. It is a character exercise, not a word or a translation.
The 1 position produces № on the base layer and 1 with Shift. Use the shifted output for the final sample item and turn Shift off afterward. Keep spaces between the letters and number so the file can be checked against the three key actions.
Check the result before reusing it
Check the two dots on ё rather than accepting е as an equivalent-looking result. The keyboard preserves the letter entered, and copying it does not decide which form belongs in your intended text. For a real name or passage, compare spelling with a reviewed source.
When adding dates or numbers, inspect the Shift layer before using the upper row. A base symbol such as № is valid text but may be wrong for the field. Correct only the mistaken item, then use Undo if the selection or replacement was too broad.
Save the exercise as a PNG image
Open Text style from the font icon. Use Arial at 28 px, Automatic color, and Left to right direction. Turn bold, italic, underline and strikethrough off. These settings apply to the whole editor. A font changes appearance, not the stored characters; your device may use a fallback font for unsupported shapes. Choose Done to close the style dialog.
Choose Save image to save the complete exercise as a PNG, with centered lines and dark text on a white background. Open the file and compare it with the sample. For an editable alternative, choose Save Word (.docx) to create a real .docx, or use Copy text for plain text. These actions use all the editor text even when only part is selected.

Tips for this layout
Learn positions, not transliteration
The small Latin hints locate keys. They do not describe how to spell a Russian sound with Roman letters.
Review mixed text
Cyrillic and Latin characters can look similar. Use the intended script consistently in names and headings rather than choosing letters by appearance alone.
Common questions
Where is ё on this layout?
Use the slash position on the base layer. Shift with the same position supplies Ё.
Why does pressing 1 give №?
The base upper row contains punctuation. Shift changes that position to the digit 1.
Does the keyboard translate English into Russian?
No. It enters mapped characters. Supply the intended Russian text yourself or paste reviewed text from another source.
Try the Russian exercise
Use the three-item check to learn ё and the number layer, then apply it to your own reviewed Russian text.
